One Radiant Life Terms & Conditions, Cancellation, Transfer & Refund Policy

Effective Date: August 21, 2026

Please read these Terms & Conditions carefully before registering for One Radiant Life. By electronically accepting “The Terms” during checkout and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review, have read, understand, and agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions.

These Terms apply to the One Radiant Life immersive restorative experience and are between you, the participant, and Renée MacGregor, doing business as One Radiant Life ("One Radiant Life," "Organizer," "we," or "us").

IMPORTANT LEGAL NOTICE: These Terms & Conditions contain an Assumption of Risk and Release and Waiver of Liability, including a release of certain claims arising from the ordinary negligence of One Radiant Life and other Released Parties. These provisions affect your legal rights. Please read these Terms carefully before accepting “The Terms” and completing your registration.

1. Eligibility & Registration

Participants must be at least 18 years old and legally able to enter into this agreement.

Registration is subject to availability, payment, completion of required participant information and forms, and compliance with these Terms.

One Radiant Life may reasonably determine whether participation is appropriate based on safety, capacity, conduct, or operational considerations, subject to applicable law.

2. About the One Radiant Life Experience

One Radiant Life is an educational, restorative, and wellness-focused group experience.

Activities may include:

  • Lodging

  • Chef-prepared meals

  • Guided breath awareness and breathing practices

  • Gentle movement, mobility, stretching, restorative or yin-style practices, and light bodyweight activity

  • Group walks

  • Health, wellness, and nutrition education

  • Coaching

  • Journaling and guided reflection

  • Group discussions and community activities

  • Quiet and personal restorative time

  • Use of the retreat home and surrounding property

  • Optional massage, facial, or other services provided by independent professionals

Schedules, instructors, providers, activities, menus, room assignments, routes, and activity locations may be reasonably adjusted based on weather, safety, participant needs, provider availability, or operational considerations.

A participant may choose not to participate in or may stop an activity at any time, provided doing so can be accomplished safely and without materially disrupting the group. Choosing not to participate in an activity does not create a right to a refund, substitute service, private session, or schedule modification.

3. Educational & Wellness Disclaimer

One Radiant Life is not medical care, psychotherapy, physical therapy, dietetic treatment, rehabilitation, emergency care, or crisis treatment.

Information provided during presentations, coaching, nutrition education, movement sessions, breath practices, journaling, discussions, and other activities is educational and supportive in nature.

Participation does not create a physician-patient, psychotherapist-patient, registered-dietitian-patient, physical-therapist-patient, or other licensed clinical relationship with One Radiant Life or Renée MacGregor.

Participants remain responsible for seeking qualified professional care regarding medical symptoms, diagnoses, medications, injuries, pregnancy, mental health concerns, nutrition therapy, or other matters requiring licensed care.

No particular physical, emotional, health, fitness, or wellness outcome is promised or guaranteed.

4. Health & Participant Responsibility

Participants are responsible for determining whether they are physically and emotionally able to participate in the activities they choose.

Before attending, participants will be required to complete a separate confidential Health, Dietary, Accommodation & Emergency Form and provide information reasonably necessary for safe participation.

Participants agree to:

  • Provide accurate information and update One Radiant Life if relevant information changes.

  • Bring and manage their own medications, rescue medications, mobility aids, and medical supplies.

  • Participate within their individual abilities and limitations.

  • Follow reasonable safety instructions.

  • Stop or modify an activity when necessary.

  • Seek medical clearance when appropriate.

One Radiant Life is not equipped to provide ongoing medical or psychiatric care.

5. Food, Allergies & Dietary Needs

Meals may be prepared in a shared kitchen where common food allergens are present.

One Radiant Life and its food-service providers will make reasonable efforts to accommodate dietary needs and allergies disclosed in advance but cannot guarantee an allergen-free or cross-contact-free environment.

Participants with severe or life-threatening allergies are responsible for carrying prescribed emergency medication and making an independent decision about whether a particular food or meal is safe for them.

6. Independent Wellness Providers

Massage, facial, esthetic, or similar services may be provided by separately contracted independent professionals.

These providers control their own professional judgment, products, procedures, intake, consent, records, licensing, and insurance.

Participants may be required to complete the provider's own intake and consent documentation before receiving a service and may stop a service at any time.

One Radiant Life does not diagnose, supervise, or guarantee the professional services of independent providers.

7. Community Expectations & Conduct

One Radiant Life is intentionally designed to create a respectful, restorative, and private group environment.

Participants agree to treat other participants, staff, providers, venue personnel, neighbors, and members of the public respectfully.

Harassment, threats, stalking, unwanted sexual conduct, retaliation, theft, illegal activity, intentional property damage, or behavior that materially compromises another participant's safety or experience will not be permitted.

To protect participant privacy, participants may not photograph, video, livestream, audio-record, transcribe, or use an AI recording tool during group activities, meals, shared sessions, or private conversations without permission from One Radiant Life and every identifiable person involved.

Participants are also asked not to disclose another participant's personal stories, statements, health information, contact information, or private circumstances outside the experience without that person's permission.

While everyone is expected to respect these privacy standards, One Radiant Life cannot guarantee that another participant will maintain confidentiality.

8. Alcohol, Drugs, Smoking & Safety

The One Radiant Life experience is alcohol-free, cannabis-free, illegal-drug-free, and smoke/vape-free unless One Radiant Life expressly communicates otherwise in writing.

Participants may not participate while impaired in a way that creates a safety concern or materially disrupts the group.

Weapons, fireworks, explosives, and dangerous items are prohibited to the fullest extent permitted by law.

One Radiant Life may issue a warning, restrict participation, require reasonable safety measures, or require a participant to leave when conduct creates a significant safety, legal, property, privacy, or group-integrity concern.

Removal resulting from participant misconduct does not create a right to a refund except where required by law.

9. Lodging, Transportation & Personal Property

Participants are responsible for arranging and paying for their own transportation to and from One Radiant Life and for arriving and departing at the designated times.

The experience takes place in a shared residential setting. Room and bed assignments may be shared and are not guaranteed unless specifically confirmed in writing.

Participants must comply with venue rules communicated before or during the experience.

Cell service, internet access, power, climate control, or other residential amenities may occasionally be limited or interrupted.

Participants are responsible for their personal belongings. One Radiant Life is not responsible for personal property that is lost, stolen, misplaced, or damaged except to the extent liability cannot legally be waived.

10. Property Responsibility

Participants agree to use the property, furnishings, equipment, and supplies with reasonable care and to promptly report significant damage or safety hazards.

To the extent permitted by law, a participant may be responsible for reasonable documented costs resulting from that participant's intentional, reckless, or negligent damage beyond ordinary wear and tear.

IMPORTANT: ASSUMPTION OF RISK & RELEASE OF LIABILITY

11. Acknowledgment and Assumption of Risk

Participation in One Radiant Life involves activities and environments that carry inherent and other risks.

These may include, without limitation, risks associated with:

  • Walking, movement, stretching, balance activities, stairs, and floor transitions

  • Breath practices

  • Physical exertion

  • Slips, trips, and falls

  • Indoor and outdoor surfaces

  • Weather, heat, cold, rain, smoke, and air quality

  • Roads, traffic, gravel, slopes, decks, grounds, insects, wildlife, and natural surroundings

  • Food and food allergies

  • Shared residential accommodations

  • Emotional responses to reflection or group discussion

  • Interaction with other participants

  • Independent wellness providers

  • Delayed access to emergency or medical assistance

  • Illness, injury, property loss, and other unexpected events

By registering, you knowingly and voluntarily assume the inherent, known and unknown, obvious and non-obvious risks reasonably associated with participating in One Radiant Life.

You understand that these risks may include bodily injury, illness, emotional distress, disability, property damage, economic loss, and, in rare circumstances, death.

12. Release of Claims Arising From Ordinary Negligence

PLEASE READ THIS SECTION CAREFULLY. IT AFFECTS YOUR LEGAL RIGHTS.

To the fullest extent permitted by California law, you release and discharge Renée MacGregor, doing business as One Radiant Life; Renée MacGregor individually; and their respective employees, agents, volunteers, instructors, contractors, successors, assigns, and insurers from claims for personal injury, illness, emotional distress, death, property damage, or other loss arising out of or related to participation in One Radiant Life, including claims caused in whole or in part by the ordinary negligence of a released party.

You agree not to bring a lawsuit against a released party for a claim that is validly released under these Terms.

This release does not apply to gross negligence, reckless or willful misconduct, fraud, intentional injury, or any claim or right that cannot legally be waived under California law.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to waive any legally nonwaivable right or remedy.

13. Emergency Assistance

If One Radiant Life reasonably believes emergency assistance is necessary, you authorize the Organizer to contact emergency services and provide emergency responders with information reasonably necessary to assist you.

You remain financially responsible for medical evaluation, treatment, ambulance services, transportation, medications, and related expenses unless applicable law provides otherwise.

14. Payments, Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers

Your registration is also governed by the separate One Radiant Life Cancellation, Transfer & Refund Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference.

By registering, you acknowledge that you have reviewed and agreed to that policy.

15. Changes to the Experience

One Radiant Life may make reasonable substitutions or adjustments to room assignments, instructors, providers, activities, meals, schedules, or other operational details when necessary.

A reasonable change that does not materially reduce the overall One Radiant Life experience does not create a right to a refund.

If circumstances beyond One Radiant Life's reasonable control make the experience unsafe, impossible, or materially impractical, the provisions in the Cancellation, Transfer & Refund Policy regarding organizer cancellation, postponement, relocation, and events beyond reasonable control will apply.

16. Photography, Video & Audio

Participant photography, recording, and privacy expectations are governed by these Terms.

Any authorization allowing One Radiant Life to use identifiable photographs, video, audio, or testimonials for promotional or commercial purposes will be addressed separately through a Photo, Video & Audio Release.

17. Electronic Agreement

By checking the applicable acknowledgment box during registration and submitting your registration/payment, you confirm that:

  • You have had the opportunity to read these Terms in full.

  • You understand that they contain an assumption of risk and release of certain legal claims, including claims involving ordinary negligence.

  • You have had the opportunity to ask questions or seek independent legal or health advice if you choose.

  • You are agreeing voluntarily.

  • You intend your electronic acceptance to be legally binding.

The version of these Terms presented to you at the time of registration will govern your registration. Reasonable operational updates that do not materially change your contractual rights may be communicated separately.

18. Governing Law & General Terms

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to conflict-of-law principles.

Before initiating formal legal proceedings, you and One Radiant Life agree to make a good-faith effort to resolve the dispute through direct written communication.

Any court action arising out of or relating to these Terms or participation in One Radiant Life shall be filed in a court of competent jurisdiction in Nevada County, California, unless applicable law requires a different venue.

If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent permitted by law or severed, and the remaining provisions will continue in effect.

Nothing contained in these Terms waives a right or remedy that cannot legally be waived.

By completing registration, checking the acknowledgment box, and submitting payment, you acknowledge that you have read, understand, and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

By electronically accepting these Terms and completing your registration and submitting payment, whether in full or through payment of the $750 nonrefundable reservation deposit, you acknowledge that you have had the opportunity to review, have read, understand, and voluntarily agree to be legally bound by these Terms & Conditions, including the Assumption of Risk and Release and Waiver of Liability. You further acknowledge that these provisions affect your legal rights, including the release of certain claims arising from ordinary negligence, to the fullest extent permitted by applicable law.

One Radiant Life Cancellation, Transfer & Refund Policy

We understand that plans can change. Because One Radiant Life is an intimate experience with limited availability and significant advance commitments for lodging, meals, providers, and other services, the following cancellation and refund policy applies to all registrations.

Please review this policy carefully before completing your registration.

Reservation Deposit

A $750 reservation deposit is nonrefundable once your registration has been accepted by One Radiant Life, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

If you pay the full retreat fee at registration, the first $750 of your payment is considered your nonrefundable reservation deposit.

Final Payment

Any remaining balance is due 45 calendar days before the scheduled retreat start date.

If you register within 45 days of the retreat start date, the full retreat fee is due at the time of registration unless One Radiant Life agrees to another payment arrangement in writing.

If a scheduled payment is declined or the remaining balance is not received when due, One Radiant Life may cancel your registration after reasonable notice.

Cancellation 30 or More Days Before the Retreat

If you cancel 30 calendar days or more before the scheduled retreat start date, payments received above the $750 nonrefundable reservation deposit will be refunded, less any expressly disclosed nonrefundable payment-processing charges to the extent permitted by law.

The date One Radiant Life receives your written cancellation notice determines whether your cancellation falls within the refundable period.

Cancellation Less Than 30 Days Before the Retreat

If you cancel less than 30 calendar days before the scheduled retreat start date, all amounts paid are nonrefundable.

This policy applies regardless of the reason for cancellation, including illness, injury, family emergency, work obligations, travel disruption, weather, fear of travel, or other personal circumstances, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Because many retreat expenses and provider commitments become nonrecoverable as the experience approaches, a future-retreat credit is not guaranteed.

If Your Space Is Filled

If you cancel less than 30 days before the retreat and One Radiant Life is able to fill your vacated space with a new, fully paid participant, One Radiant Life may, at its discretion, offer a partial refund or credit toward a future One Radiant Life retreat.

Any amount offered may be reduced by:

  • The $750 nonrefundable reservation deposit

  • Payment-processing costs

  • Nonrecoverable expenses already committed or incurred for your reservation

A refund or credit under this provision is discretionary and is not guaranteed.

Registrations Made Within 30 Days of the Retreat

If you register less than 30 calendar days before the scheduled retreat start date, your registration falls within the nonrefundable period.

The $750 reservation deposit and any additional amounts paid are nonrefundable once your registration is accepted, except where applicable law requires otherwise.

Transfers & Substitute Participants

Registrations may not be sold, assigned, or independently transferred to another person.

If you are unable to attend, you may request approval for a substitute participant.

A substitute participant must:

  • Meet One Radiant Life eligibility requirements

  • Complete all required registration information and forms

  • Complete applicable health and safety information

  • Agree to the One Radiant Life Terms & Conditions and required releases

  • Satisfy all payment requirements

  • Be approved by One Radiant Life

Substitution approval is not guaranteed.

Please do not promise or sell your space to another person unless One Radiant Life has confirmed the substitution in writing.

How to Cancel or Request a Transfer

All cancellation and transfer requests must be submitted in writing.

Please email:

connect@reneemacgregor.com

Your cancellation becomes effective on the date One Radiant Life receives your written notice.

You do not need to provide private medical information or a detailed explanation unless it is necessary for a particular legal or contractual request.

Travel Insurance

Because unexpected circumstances can arise, travel insurance is strongly recommended soon after registration.

Insurance policies differ significantly in their coverage, exclusions, covered cancellation reasons, purchase deadlines, and reimbursement limits.

One Radiant Life does not sell, select, interpret, or guarantee travel insurance coverage. Participants are responsible for evaluating whether a particular policy meets their individual needs.

Changes Made by One Radiant Life

One Radiant Life may make reasonable changes to schedules, activities, instructors, providers, meals, room assignments, venue details, or other program elements when necessary for safety, weather, participant needs, provider availability, or operational reasons.

A reasonable adjustment that does not materially reduce the overall One Radiant Life experience does not create a right to a refund.

Events Beyond Our Reasonable Control

Certain circumstances may occur that are outside One Radiant Life's reasonable control, including wildfire, smoke, severe weather, natural disaster, epidemic or public-health restrictions, utility failure, road closure, government action, venue unavailability, labor disruption, civil unrest, or similar events.

If such circumstances prevent, materially disrupt, or make the retreat unsafe, One Radiant Life may reasonably relocate, modify, postpone, or cancel the retreat.

In those circumstances, One Radiant Life will provide any remedy required by applicable law and may, as appropriate, offer a rescheduled date, future credit, or refund of recoverable amounts after nonrecoverable third-party commitments and expenses.

Nothing in this policy is intended to waive a right that cannot legally be waived.

Retreat-Specific Terms

The dates, location, total retreat fee, and other retreat-specific details will be provided during registration.

If a particular One Radiant Life retreat expressly provides different payment or cancellation terms at the time of registration, those retreat-specific written terms will control over any conflicting provision of this general policy.
