What we're asked the most...

What if I miss a workout?

Because the program is only six weeks, consistency is important. If you miss a workout, simply use that as your rest day and continue with the next scheduled workout. The goal is to stay consistent throughout the program.

Do I need gym access?

Gym access is not required, but you will need a variety of dumbbells that increase in small increments and a way to perform interval cardio (such as a treadmill, bike, or similar option). If you don’t have these at home, I recommend using a gym during the program, as many offer low-cost monthly memberships. For example, Crunch Fitness starts at $13/month and Planet Fitness starts at $15/month.

Is this program suitable for beginners?

Yes. The program is fully customizable to your current fitness level. It’s intentionally structured with built-in progression and strategic workout flow, so you don’t have to think about what to do next. The plan also adjusts at key points to manage fatigue and support consistent progress. You simply follow the plan and focus on showing up.

How much time will this require each week?

Most participants spend about 4–6 hours per week on exercising and meal prep, which typically breaks down to about 35–60 minutes per day, depending on how you structure your week. Everything is designed to be realistic and manageable within a busy schedule.

Also allow time for the three scheduled group calls and for reviewing program materials and participating in community discussions.

Do I need to follow a strict meal plan?

No. Nutrition is already structured for you by properly portioning the macronutrients your body needs, while still allowing flexibility in food choices. Using a simple hand-portion guide, you’ll know how much to eat at each meal, no weighing, measuring, or tracking required.

Will this help with weight loss?

Many women experience sustainable fat loss as they begin supporting their bodies through strength, nutrition, and recovery. The focus is on improving overall health and body composition rather than quick or extreme weight loss, so progress can be maintained long after the program ends.

What if I travel during this program?

That’s not a problem at all. Travel is part of life, and this program is designed to work with it. You have If you’re staying at a hotel, you can use the hotel gym, and many hotels partner with nearby fitness facilities if they don’t have one onsite. Choosing accommodations with a kitchenette or easy access to grocery stores can also make nutrition easier. If you’re staying with family or friends, getting a temporary pass at a local gym and setting expectations around your nutrition can help you stay consistent. The goal is to stay consistent, not perfect, even while traveling.

How much support will I receive?

You’ll have 24/7 access to the private app community, where you can ask questions, share progress, and learn alongside other participants. Coach Renée provides coaching on program topics and guidance within group discussions.

Live group calls take place during preparation week and Weeks 3 and 5. Your handbook and video library provide additional guidance between calls.

After the program, you can choose to join a private 1:1 call with Coach Renée to reflect on your experience and share feedback. Community access is available anytime; coach responses are provided during designated response windows.

Is this designed for perimenopause, at menopause, or post-menopause?

Yes, yes, and yes. This program is specifically designed to support the hormonal and physiological changes that occur during midlife, including perimenopause, at menopause, and post-menopause.

What happens after I apply?

After you submit your application, it will be carefully reviewed to ensure the program is the right fit. You’ll receive an email with the decision within 48 hours. If accepted, you’ll be invited to join the Fit for Life small group and will receive instructions to reserve your spot.

Your body is ready for a better way forward.

The right approach can change everything.

If you’re ready for a clear, supportive, and sustainable approach to health in midlife, this is your opportunity. Fit for Life is limited to 15 women, with guidance from Coach Renée, scheduled group calls, and an ongoing private community for questions, encouragement, and shared progress. Apply to join and take the first step toward lasting change.
